Product Description

Built to stand up to harsh outdoor operating scenarios, this double‑reinforced loose‑tube fiber optic cable delivers

robust mechanical defense against external hazards. Pre‑colored optical fibers (blue, orange, green, brown – total 4‑core) sit inside a gel‑filled PBT loose tube for internal fiber safeguarding.

The tube assembly is wrapped with corrugated PSP tape and water‑swellable barrier materials, followed by a pair of parallel steel strength members. A thin PE inner jacket encases these components, then a second PSP shielding layer is applied, capped off with a weather‑resistant black PE outer sheath.

Thanks to this hybrid double‑armored structure, it achieves 3000 N short‑term tensile capacity and 3000 N/100 mm compressive performance. It meets full IEC test criteria covering tension, crush, impact, bending performance and moisture resistance. Working temperature spans ‑40 °C to +60 °C. It is a reliable option for direct burial, conduit routing and overhead aerial runs, especially where anti‑rodent and anti‑impact performance are critical.

Product Advantage

1.Hybrid Double‑Reinforced Structure Against Severe External Damage

Combining dual corrugated PSP steel tape shielding alongside twin parallel steel‑wire strength members, this cable achieves top‑tier anti‑crush and pull‑load performance. Heavy‑duty reinforcement fends off rodent gnawing, sharp‑rock abrasion, construction‑tool strikes and pressure from passing vehicles. It performs reliably in rocky burial grounds, pest‑prone conduits and industrial sites, locations where ordinary single‑armor fiber cables tend to suffer premature breakdown.

2.Multi‑Stage Moisture‑Sealed Loose‑Tube System

Hydrophobic filling gel fills the PBT loose tube housing the glass fibers, while additional water‑blocking substrates are arranged across inter‑layer gaps between loose‑tube units and PSP barriers. The whole system satisfies IEC 794‑1‑F5B water‑blocking specifications. Stable signal transmission is preserved even within water‑logged conduits or under temporary immersion conditions. Besides blocking moisture, the inner gel acts as a shock‑absorbing buffer, easing micro‑bending stress on fiber cores and stabilizing low‑loss signal performance across long service cycles.

3.Superior Pull‑Load Capability for Long‑Distance Field Roll‑Out

Boasting 3000 N short‑term tension tolerance, the combined reinforcement system diffuses pulling stress uniformly across the whole cable cross‑section and avoids concentrated force on optical fibers. This cuts fiber‑damage risks significantly during deployment. It is well‑matched for pole‑mounted overhead spans, challenging river‑crossing aerial routes and lengthy duct pulls subject to intermittent tension surges during construction work.

4.Broad Thermal Compatibility & Practical Routing Flexibility

Consistent transmission performance is maintained at ambient temperatures ranging from ‑40 °C up to +60 °C; field installation can proceed at temperatures as low as ‑10 °C. The minimum bend radius reads 10 × cable outer diameter under static unloaded status and 20 × outer diameter under tension‑loaded conditions. Such bend tolerance supports compact routing inside manhole chambers and cable tray layouts. The outer PE jacket provides good resistance to UV radiation, ozone degradation and common chemical agents, securing multi‑year outdoor service life.

5.Slim‑Profile, Light‑Weight Reinforced‑Grade Cable

Even fitted with full double‑armor construction, the cable keeps outer diameter at only 12.4 mm with a unit weight of 150 kg/km. When compared against alternative heavy‑armor fiber offerings on the market, it features reduced bulk and lower weight. The streamlined form simplifies reel storage, over‑land transport and on‑site manipulation for installers, without compromising the high mechanical resilience demanded by tough outdoor networking projects.
